About Me & This Blog

My name is Scott Peddie and I’m a Christian Minister, therapist and mental health advocate living and working in Northern Ireland.

Several years ago I was diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder (Type II), a condition that is often met with misunderstanding, prejudice and stigma, for both the sufferer and their family.  This blog is my modest attempt to share my insights into the condition and I will be posting regular updates consisting of film reviews, latest research and many other categories that will hopefully be of interest to fellow travelers on the bipolar journey.

  1. Hi Scott,
Just to say that Rosie and I and the walkers miss you on our little walks.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are here for you, anytime.
    God Bless

  2. I have Bipolar Disorder too.
I can handle the hypomanic states, but its the agitation and anxiety that happens when I hit a depression. I just recently started Lithium….I hope it will give me some stability.

I am gald I found your blog. Hang in there and keep the faith.
