Making A Difference In The Lives Of Young Adults

NAMI’s (National Alliance on Mental Illness) online community for young adults – StrengthofUs.org – has a new look for the new spring season and is celebrating these positive changes with a #ThinkPositive social media campaign. StrengthofUs.org is an excellent initiative designed to inspire young adults impacted by mental health issues to think positive, stay strong and achieve their goals through peer support and resource sharing.

Living with mental illness, coping with stigma and misunderstanding can be very isolating for all of us.  That’s why initiatives like these are so important.

Audrey Alexander, NAMI intern and student at The George Washington University explains how it all works here.
